Chinese Origin in Italy)<\/strong> project, this conference aims to provide a broad and inclusive platform for scientific exchange on practices, theories and policies relating to the education of children of Chinese origin in Italy and Europe.\n<br><br> <strong>We welcome proposals<\/strong> that reflect methodological pluralism \u2014 <strong>ethnographic studies, quantitative analyses, historical approaches<\/strong>, policy studies, theoretical proposals and critical reflections \u2014 provided that they contribute to clarifying the educational and identity dynamics that characterise Sinophone communities in European contexts.\n\n<br><br>\nThe event is structured around three main, closely interlinked themes: <strong>Teaching<\/strong>, <strong>Identity<\/strong>, and <strong>Language Policies &amp; Planning<\/strong>. Contributions may focus on one or more themes, compare different national contexts, or offer transnational reflections that highlight tensions, convergences and emerging practices. by members of the PRIN PNRR <strong>ECCO-Italy<\/strong> (Education of Children of Chinese Origin in Italy) project<\/strong>, this conference aims to provide a platform for exchange and discussion for scholars engaged in the study of issues related to Chinese language and culture education, particularly <strong>Chinese as a heritage language<\/strong>, and Chinese migration to Europe. \n<br><br>The <strong>ECCO-Italy<\/strong> group, through its constituent research units (University of Bergamo, University of Bologna, University of Florence and University for Foreigners of Siena), has studied \u2014 and intends to further explore \u2014 issues related to <em>huawen jiaoyu<\/em> \u534e\u6587\u6559\u80b2 \/ <em>zhongwen xuexiao<\/em> \u4e2d\u6587\u5b66\u6821, defined here as adopted by HLS, the discursive construction of Chinese as a heritage language (e.g. the processes of \u201cheritisation\u201d of Chinese in Europe), the linguistic landscape and the socio-territorial complexities generated by the establishment of HLS from a multi-scale perspective: at the <strong>micro<\/strong> level (schools and their spatial contexts), at the <strong>meso<\/strong> level (provinces, regions and intermediate areas) and at the <strong>macro<\/strong> level (national or international institutions dedicated to the development and\/or management of heritage languages), with all the interconnections between China and other diasporic contexts in Europe and around the world.\n\n<br><br>\n<strong>Additional areas of interest<\/strong> \u2014 in agreement and connection
